Like so many organizations, GoSTEM had to adjust our student outreach efforts into virtual programs many years ago. While we are glad to have resumed in-person programming, we have continued to utilize virtual workshops whenever relevant to share resources with our educational community. Charlas en Familia
The Charlas en Familia Series is a family-oriented speaker series hosted entirely in Spanish to share important information about student welfare, college/career preparedness, and the school system. Past sessions have been recorded and are available on our VIDEOS page.
Latinos/Hispanics in STEM: A Career Path Series
The Latinos/Hispanics in STEM: A Career Path Series is a seminar series organized in collaboration between the Latino Organization of Graduate Students (LOGRAS), the School of Civil and Environmental Engineering (CEE), and the GoSTEM program. These seminars share the experiences of successful professionals with a Latino/Hispanic heritage and are formed by a cohort of professionals who are working in academia, private industry, and government.
